Support ACA's ongoing initiative: Ramadan food bags project for displaced Sudanese families in Chad and Sudan.
Atiye Charity Association provided direct support to the Tawila Emergency Response Rooms to help sustain Kitchen 52, a community kitchen serving families affected by displacement and crisis in Tawila, Sudan. Through this support, Atiye provided 12 rice bags, 8 bags of charcoals, 6 bags of onions, fresh meat, vegetables, etc. Kitchen 52 prepared and distributed hot meals to 250 families each day for six consecutive days, ensuring access to nutritious food during a critical period. This initiative reflects Atiye’s commitment to strengthening local emergency efforts and supporting community-led responses in times of urgent need.
ABOUT
1) Atiye Charity Association was founded on January 4, 2024, during a time of
hardest moments for our people due to war and displacement.
2) The idea began when we heard elders had crossed into Chad without proper
clothing or even shoes.
3) Stories of dignity stripped away pushed us to take action and from that
urgency, Atiye was born.
4) What started as a simple idea to help turned into a growing grassroots
organization.
